From October 9th to October 13th, 2023, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education led by Dr. Cao Anh Tuan visits and implements cooperation agreements with 04 higher education institutions and a Japanese language school in Japan, including: Wakayama University, Osaka University, Osaka Kyoiku University, Tokyo Kasei-Gakuin University and Japanese Language School.
At the working sessions, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education is warmly, thoughtfully and unanimously welcomed by leaders of Japanese higher education institutions in coordinating and implementing cooperative activities that are appropriate to the conditions and needs of each party’s higher education cooperation with the following contents:
- Cooperating in implementing projects related to special education and supporting students with special educational needs
- Recognizing and exchanging credits and admitting students to short-term exchange programs or further study at higher education levels at Japanese partner universities
- Cooperation in Vietnamese language training and developing for Japanese students
- Exchanging of high school students and university students
- Co-organizing international educational science events such as STEAM education at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education
- Scholarship support for students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education to study in Japan
- Implementing the JICA project on "Supporting and training about STEAM for lecturers and students majoring in Primary Education at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education" and preparing the implementation plan in 2024.
- Coordinating the registration and implementation of JICA-funded projects.
The delegation strengthens the connection and actively promotes cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and Japanese partner universities. Leaders of all universities agree to periodically review, evaluate and develop cooperation for the needs of each universities to train high-quality learners.
