The graduation week of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education starts on July 7th, awarding degrees to 2,470 K46 graduates and honoring 236 outstanding graduates.
The graduation series at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education also awards master's degrees to 328 postgraduate students and doctoral degrees to 22 PhD candidates.
Among them, 34 students are valedictorians of their respective fields of study, and 17 postgraduate students graduate with distinction.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Son, the President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, extended his congratulations to the graduates, postgraduates, and doctoral candidates who have completed their courses and received their degrees. Mr. Son praised the new graduates for their diligence, dedication, and commitment to their studies.
The President also expressed his gratitude to the parents for being a solid backbone to support their children’s lives and academic pursuits, and he thanked them for entrusting HCMUE to develop and nurture the future of their children.
The University’s Board of Directors is confident that from this important milestone, the new graduates will embark on a new journey, becoming more mature, independent, and responsible towards themselves, their families, and society.
New graduate Nguyễn Hữu Luân, the valedictorian of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education with a GPA of 3.93/4, graduated with distinction in English Language Teaching. In his speech expressing gratitude to the lecturers and reflecting on his university years, Luân said, "I encourage my fellow graduates to gather small joys to overcome the challenges that lie ahead in this new chapter of life."
New Doctor of Education Management Lê Hoàng Vũ shared at the ceremony: "Thank you all for never giving up during this arduous and challenging journey of study and research. Thank you for always being there, sharing every moment of joy and sorrow throughout the process. The most beautiful place is where we have been, and the most beautiful time is the time we cannot return to.”
